Hack Demo Hall 2015 Call For Applicants

Have you recently developed an app or website? Interested in showcasing your work among employers and other professionals at Microsoft this fall? Apply for the Scientista Hack Demo Hall at Microsoft Headquarters in NYC this Sunday, October 18, 2015!
The Scientista Research Symposium is a three-day event that brings female graduate and undergraduate students together from across the country to listen to inspirational talks, network, and highlight the research of undergraduate women across STEM fields via poster sessions, job fairs, talks, and workshops.
We are looking to showcase completed apps and websites developed by you. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your talents, attract users, and potentially win some great prizes! You must be available Sunday, October 18, in NYC for presenting and judging.
Opportunity for Post-Docs, University Faculty, and Professionals:
We are currently seeking professionals across STEM disciplines interested in serving as Hack Demo judges. Responsibilities include reviewing and ranking apps/websites on the day of the event. Additional information may be found here.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to submit an application, participants:
1. must have been enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student during the spring 2015, summer 2015, or fall 2015 term;
2. must have developed the app or website while enrolled in school;
3. must commit to attending the 2015 symposium if the application is accepted.
Submission:
Submissions should be sent electronically as a Microsoft Word document to the research symposium committee using the form below and must be received no later than September 15, 2015. You will be notified the on a rolling-basis whether or not your application was accepted for the hack demo.
